Our partner organizing kayak transportation from Tallinn to Finland is Itella Logistics. We ship all orders in the original factory packaging (carton or in stiff foam frames), which prevents any damage which might be done to the kayak during transportation.
Important! When you receive a kayak from the transport company, please check it over thoroughly for any damage before the driver departs the location. If any irregularities are found, please ask the driver to file paperwork on the incident immediately.
Transportation of kayaks and canoes from the point of arrival to its final destination is the responsibility of the client, along with any costs accrued during the process.

Warranty terms of SeaBird Designs kayaks

Against this rare occasion when you find a manufacturing defect on SeaBird Designs kayak, the kayak is covered with limited warranty. Dealing with warranty cases our goal is to offer the best and the fastest solution for you. We want to get you back on water as soon as possible.

SeaBird Designs limited warranty covers only defective materials and manufacturing faults for original retail owner for five years from the date of purchase. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse of the kayak, also normal wear and tear. Warranty does not cover kayaks that are modified by user. To find out how to properly use, maintenance and storage your kayak, please contact your local retailer.

If you find a defect on your SeaBird Designs kayak you have to stop using it to avoid further damage to the kayak and of course your own safety. Then contact your local retailer and inform them of your problem. Every case is handled individually and we will try to find the best solution for you either fixing the problem and if it is necessary we will change your kayak.
